What a week it has been. We lost an icon of music Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul and a new audience will hopefully rediscover her music. It was the 50th birthday of KBOO Community Radio a listener-supported, independent, noncommercial, volunteer-powered radio station and I am getting ready for some new gigs in September. If you missed any of my social media postings this week here they are!
I Love George Jones tunes. At the very end of a recent Winnemucca NV show you can hear the audience singing along - they were a wonderful crowd! https://youtu.be/gsLxy8fIeZ4 #COOLEYShow #MusicMonday #GeorgeJones #MondayMusic#MusicianLife

Music does a lot of things for a lot of people. It's transporting, for sure. It can take you right back, years back, to the very moment certain things happened in your life. It's uplifting, it's encouraging, it's strengthening. Aretha Franklin #WednesdayWisdom #COOLEYShow#ArethaFranklin
