COOLEY October 2019 Wrapup

October saw the tail end of Fall Tour with dates from San Francisco to Eugene, Oregon — then onto Seattle for a couple of mid-month shows. Spring Tour in April 2020 is almost fully booked along the same route with several return performances. The Vault hosted COOLEY Show twice this month with the last being on my birthday, Oct. 30th, and a great crowd of regulars celebrated with cake and balloons! $75 in piano bar tips were collected and donated to Shriners Hospital for Children — thank you music lovers for that ! Three Halloween shows at month’s end made for a great start to fall/winter festivities.

In case you missed any of my October social media posts here are some of my favorites below.

With Marykay Lamoureaux, Executive Director of Ridgefield Main Street at their annual Oktoberfest where COOLEY Show Band head-lined in the Bier Garten. ’Twas a stellar evening in every way.

Dancing softens the heart and sweetens the day (with Shirley at Rhoda Goldman Plaza in San Francisco - she’s only 101 years old = )

Opening for Polo Hofer at the Bierhübeli Bern in Bern Switzerland (circa 1991) with Swiss backup band. Polo was a living legend in Swiss Pop music — what an honor to perform at his show.

COOLEY Lovin' the vibe at ilani Muze' s Muze Lounge

"You should receive the Medal of Honor for what you’re doing for these people." BOBBY TORRES Bobby Torres joined myself and Christopher Woitach for a grand concert at West Hills Village Senior Residence Sunday afternoon. Bobby’s music has blessed us for 50 years performing at Woodstock with Joe Cocker, 10 years on tour with Tom Jones, and star of the Latin Jazz group, Bobby Torres Ensemble. Bobby Torres Ensemble Maplewood Neighborhood in Portland, OR

With my friend Chris Alenspach in at her home near Lake Constance in northern Switzerland .

Enjoying the sun with Thelma after a show at Edgewood Pointe in Beaverton, Oregon

Rural Oregon Wisdom… I saw this months ago while on tour and I'm still trying to figure it out. (near Crane, Oregon)

At the Vault at LaScala , summer 2018. Last night’s show was great fun — will be back Oct. 30th to celebrate my birthday.

At Archie McPhee “Confusing Seattle Since 1983.” Lots of great, wacky items for masquerade, fun and games.

A beautiful September evening to rock the Bier Garten at the annual Ridgefield Main Street Oktoberfest

With Diana at Regency Park Assisted Living last month. She sits near the piano and records all the song titles I perform. What a sweet vocation!

‘Nothing like a couple days at the beach (Newport OR) to clear one’s mind.

Singing with my Uncle John Munger ala "Johnny Munger Jazz Band" (circa 1990). I guess it was "Wear Your Pajamas to Uncle’s Concert Day" =

With Jim at Somerset Lodge, Halloween Day
