COOLEY July 2019 Wrapup

July 2019 was a month like no other and included enjoying the weather, time with family and friends, and summertime music. A perfect day at Skamania Lodge brought one of the best patio audiences ever – it was a beautiful afternoon!

Regarding the "no other" part: an unpleasant and challenging surprise awaited me at month’s end when I developed an infection in my neck that made life very difficult, ending with a surgery to relieve the problem. I’m so grateful to my sister and part-time tour mate who celebrated her birthday (7/31) at my side while I muddled thru this ordeal.

Also, many thanks to Mary Erin for her help (including Haagen Dazs). The picture is the morning after surgery, happy to be on the mend. Happy Birthday Lana !

Evening Stroll, South Lake Union in Seattle. Great Friday Shows with another today in Queen Anne. (Aegis Living) then Sunday performance in Olympia. Beeeutiful Weekend!

COOLEY sings La Vie en Rose/Ramblin' Rose - it's Rose Fest time!

A throwback to the mid-80s and the Cool Rays Band in Kumamoto Japan. We performed the "Kennedy House" for 2 months in this charming little town with its historic castle, "Kumamoto Jo." We were fortunate to experience Cherry Blossom Festival — something I’ll never forget. (I hope = ) We were a great group that entertained so many in the four years of our existence. Thanks to Casey Nova (who remains a great songwriter and performer) for the photo. #cooleyshow #tbt
